Interested in hand building and wheel throwing techniques? This is the course for you! You will be guided by our instructor Sammy in a variety of hand building techniques along with the basics of wheel throwing, with the chance to develop and combine those techniques! Over the six weeks you will make and glaze a number of creations (you are limited to 8 finished pieces in the course). Once you have completed the course you are able to access open studio sessions and/or studio membership. After 3-4 weeks we will email to notify you that your pots are ready for collection. We advise you to come in clothing you don't mind getting a bit dirty - pottery can get a little messy! It will also help if your nails are short and you don't have jewellery on - but it isn't essential. * Due to the nature of ceramics not all pots make it out of the firing process in one piece - we will do our best to take care of your creations but cannot be responsible if pots are damaged or destroyed in the firing process and unfortunately we cannot offer refunds if this occurs.
