Taster 'Everything Pottery' Class

Service Description

If you fancy trying out a few ways of making with clay this taster class is for you! You will have the chance to be guided through an hour and a half of hand building, followed by an hour and a half of throwing. These 3 hour sessions are relaxed and fun with Sammy on hand to guide and support you both in your hand building and on the wheel. You will get to make lots of creations - some more successful than others probably! - and then choose your favourite two to be fired and glazed *. Additional pots can be fired for a small charge. Please note this class is for adults and teens age 14yrs+. Under 18's must be accompanied by a participating adult. After 3-4 weeks we will email to notify you that your pots are ready for collection. We advise you to come in clothing you don't mind getting a bit dirty - pottery can get a little messy! It will also help if your nails are short and you don't have jewellery on - but it isn't essential. * Due to the nature of ceramics not all pots make it out of the firing process in one piece - we will do our best to take care of your creations but cannot be responsible if pots are damaged or destroyed in the firing process and unfortunately we cannot offer refunds if this occurs. ** If booking for more than one participant please check there is space prior to booking, This can be checked with the participant number drop down - if this is not showing there is only one space remaining in the class.
